Bring your own cover "tent"

Entry Fee is $20.00 per category
Categories ------ Chicken and Pork Ribs
Contestants provide enough meat per category for 2 sealed containers
"container size is standard Take - out / to-go "
Containers provided by Rodeo
There will be a blind tasting
No Gas Grills allowed
Garnish for containers will not be provided
Meat will be checked for freshness prior to preparation and cooking
Meat must prepared (rubbing, injecting, etc.) at the event

 

Taste Judging

On a Scale of 1 - 10 { 1 being bad, 10 being Great} in 5 Categories

1. Presentation (How good the food looks upon opening the containers)
2. Texture of meat
3. Under cooked or over cooked
4. Moisture of meat
5.Taste

Chicken Must be submitted by 3:00 pm can be BBQ or Smoked
Pork Ribs Must be submitted by 5:00pm, can be wet or dry

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st Place Trophy  : Chicken
1st Place Trophy  : Pork Ribs
2nd Place Trophy  : Chicken
2ndPlace Trophy  : Pork Ribs
3rd Place Trophy  : Chicken
3rd Place Trophy  : Pork Ribs
